1. Children's Privacy & COPPA/GDPR Compliance

Tutor Quest: Math is designed specifically for young children, including non-readers and early learners. We take children's privacy with the utmost seriousness:

• We do not collect, harvest, or request any personal information, names, email addresses, or locations from your child.
• We comply fully with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the General Data Protection Regulation regarding children (GDPR-K).
• The application contains absolutely no third-party advertisements, tracking pixels, or hidden behavioral telemetry code.

2. Data Collection and Usage

Local Educational Data: This application is a fully offline, standalone tool. All gameplay metrics—including unlocked difficulty levels, avatar configurations (gender models, custom clothing choices, hair tints), coin balances, saved tutor-mode papers, and count statistics—are stored locally on your device in private Room database structures. We have no access to, nor do we collect or store, this data on any external server.

In-App Purchases (If Applicable): If premium feature expansions are processed via the Google Play Billing System:

• We do not collect, track, or view your credit card details, financial reporting structures, or payment accounts.
• We process a unique, anonymous "Purchase Token" provided by Google Play to verify ownership of unlocked curriculum packs.
• This single verification requires a temporary internet connection to communicate directly with official Google Play validation servers.

3. Data Security & Persistence

Your child's progress is securely isolated within the application's local database directory. The safety of this data completely depends on the physical security of your smartphone or tablet device. The Developer cannot recover game currency, custom items, or collection albums if you lose your physical device, delete app caches, or clear storage spaces manually.

4. Data Deletion

Because all gameplay data and custom sheets are strictly user-generated local data, uninstallation of the Application from your device will instantly and permanently delete all records, avatars, unlocked items, and progress histories. To exercise your "right to be forgotten" or request deletion, simply uninstall the application. We hold no identifiable data records on any cloud server to manually purge.

5. NO WARRANTY (Data Integrity)

The application service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE." The Developer makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the continuous availability, flawless performance, or absolute security of local storage. We do not guarantee that game scores, progress levels, or font configurations will be retained permanently across heavy operating system upgrades or unexpected system resets.

6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY (Progress Loss)

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the Developer be liable for any accidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of local progress data, custom layouts, or corrupted game saves;
• Bugs or glitches arising from experimental math combinations or negative sums within Tutor Mode configurations;
• Unauthorized physical access to your device by third parties.

By installing this application, you explicitly acknowledge that data deletion can occur due to technical device crashes, unexpected hardware failure, or automated Google Play update disruptions. You agree that the Developer bears zero liability for any such local data loss.

7. USER/PARENTAL RESPONSIBILITY

The supervising parent or device owner bears full and exclusive responsibility for:

• Securing the physical Android device with appropriate parental controls, biometrics, or security pins.
• Managing internal device storage quotas so the local Room database can safely write progress checkpoints.

8. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to refine or adjust this privacy policy documentation at any time. Any foundational updates (such as introducing optional cloud backup capabilities) will be explicitly detailed via formal app store distribution update logs.
